Little Miss Priss!

We were out on the porch enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather, and this priss pot was singing a pretty song while rocking her heart away. I had to grab my camera quickly and capture some shots. Enjoy!

NEW York City Quiz

I got this off of my sis-in-law Liz's blog! Ilove the fun quizes on this site! I have a good friend who lives in Brooklyn, and had a blast visiting her!
You Belong in Brooklyn

Down to earth and hard working, you're a true New Yorker.
And although you may be turning into a yuppie, you never forget your roots.

We had loads of fun this Labor Day, walking around town, listening to music, and EATING! It was HOT, but it was FUN. It's finally cooling off a lot at night, but is still getting up to 85-90 during the day. I can't wait for fall and all the beautiful colors we get to see!

YIPPEE! It's here, my birthday present is here! I got some birthday money, and this is what I bought:) A beautiful, handcrafted tote by the talented designer LuAnne of Back Home Again . I even got 2 lavender satchets with my package! It will be nice to carry something totally unique, well made and functional! There are 4 small pockets for my cell phone, keys, credit cards and business cards, with room for diapers and a pack of wipes! What more could I ask for, I LOVE it!

Father/Daughter time

Sophia gathered up all 4 of her Cinderella books and clibmed into bed with daddy this morning! She proceeded to "read" him the story and tell him who was mean and who was nice! She's definately a priss pot, and loves to hear any princess story:)

There's something like a line of gold thread running through a man's words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself. ~John Gregory Brown
